Terms and Conditions of Use

Version: 2.0 Last updated: October 26, 2026 Jurisdiction: Republic of Argentina

1. Identification of the controller

Finamby is a personal finance management and organization application, hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”.

For questions, requests or complaints related to the service, the user may contact [email protected].

2. Description of the service

Finamby is a digital tool that allows users to organize and review information related to their personal finances.

Its features include:

The available features may evolve and change as the service develops.

Finamby is not a financial, banking, payment or investment intermediation institution. It does not manage, receive, hold or transfer its users’ funds.

Finamby also does not require bank credentials or full card numbers to offer its current features.

3. Registration and user account

To use Finamby, the user must provide truthful, up-to-date and sufficient information to create their account.

The user is responsible for keeping their access credentials confidential and for reporting any suspected unauthorized use.

Finamby may implement identity verification mechanisms, multi-factor authentication and security controls to protect accounts.

Access may be subject to validation or registration approval, provided that objective, reasonable and non-discriminatory criteria are applied.

The service is intended for people over 18 years of age. Minors must not register without a legally valid form of authorization expressly enabled by Finamby.

4. Recording of financial information

The user may manually enter data about their accounts, income, expenses, balances and other transactions.

The information recorded is for organizational and informational purposes only.

The balances shown in Finamby are calculated from the data entered, imported and confirmed by the user, so they may differ from the actual balances held at financial institutions.

Finamby does not independently verify the existence, authenticity or accuracy of the financial transactions reported.

The user may edit or delete records in accordance with the available features and the retention conditions set out in the Privacy Policy.

5. Processing of documents using artificial intelligence

Finamby offers an optional feature that allows images, receipts and PDF documents to be analyzed using artificial intelligence.

For this purpose, it uses technology provided by Anthropic PBC through a centralized integration managed by Finamby.

When the user requests processing, the content needed is transmitted to the technology provider to obtain a proposal for extracting and interpreting financial information.

Finamby does not keep the original files processed nor does it add them to its database as stored documents.

Documents are not kept as permanent attachments within the user’s account.

The information identified by artificial intelligence is presented to the user for review and confirmation before being added to their financial records.

Artificial intelligence may make mistakes, omit information or misinterpret documents. Therefore, the user must review the results before confirming them.

The user’s confirmation does not exclude the legal responsibilities that correspond to Finamby for the operation and security of the service.

The processing of personal data carried out during this process is detailed in the Privacy Policy.

6. Budgets and savings recommendations

Finamby may offer budgeting tools, expense analysis, projections and savings suggestions.

These features use the financial information recorded by the user and may generate estimates of savings capacity, daily budgets and indicative recommendations.

Estimates do not constitute a guarantee of savings, solvency, returns or the achievement of goals.

Suggestions do not replace professional financial, accounting, tax or legal advice.

The user retains the right to decide how to manage their money and to modify the proposed goals and budgets.

7. Shared expenses

Finamby allows users to create or join groups to organize expenses among several people.

Members of a group may view the information shared within that space, including participants’ names, items, amounts and the distribution of expenses.

Participation in a group does not authorize other members to access accounts, movements or private financial information that has not been shared.

Shared records may remain visible to the other members when a user leaves the group, according to the features and deletion rules described in the Privacy Policy.

Each user must respect the privacy of the other participants.

8. Conditions of use

The user agrees to use Finamby lawfully and with respect for the rights of third parties.

The following is not permitted:

Finamby may take proportionate measures in response to breaches, including temporary restrictions or suspension of accounts.

When an account is suspended, the user will be told the reason for the measure by email and when trying to sign in, together with its consequences (they will not be able to access the service, but their data is kept and is not deleted because of the suspension) and a channel to request a review: [email protected].

Where a security emergency, fraud or a legal obligation prevents the facts from being detailed, at least the category of the reason will be stated.

The user may request a review of the measure by writing to that channel, and the account will be reactivated where appropriate.

9. Free of charge and future paid features

In its current version, Finamby is offered free of charge.

Certain features may be subject to reasonable usage limits, which are shown within the application.

In the future, Finamby may add paid plans or additional features by subscription.

The introduction of paid plans will not imply automatic charges for users of the free service.

Before any paid purchase, the final price, applicable taxes, benefits, duration, renewal and cancellation conditions and consumer rights will be clearly disclosed.

No user will be automatically enrolled in a paid subscription without their corresponding contractual consent.

10. Availability and changes to the service

Finamby will endeavor to keep the service available and to take reasonable measures to preserve its operation and security.

Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, technical failures or circumstances beyond the Controller’s reasonable control.

Where possible, relevant scheduled interruptions will be announced in advance.

Finamby may modify, improve or discontinue features, respecting users’ acquired rights and the applicable legal obligations.

If the service is discontinued, we will endeavor to give reasonable advance notice and to make it possible to export the relevant data.

11. Intellectual property

The name Finamby, its visual identity, design, software, documentation and other elements of the service belong to their respective owners and are protected by applicable law.

The user retains the rights they hold over the information they add to the application.

Using Finamby does not imply a transfer of ownership of the user’s financial data.

The user authorizes only the technical operations necessary to provide the requested features, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

12. Liability and scope of the information

Finamby is a personal financial organization tool.

Reports, balances, projections and suggestions are generated from the information available and may contain differences, errors or omissions.

Finamby does not guarantee any specific economic results or the achievement of a particular level of savings.

The user must verify the information before using it to make significant financial decisions.

The Controller will answer for the breaches and damages that are legally attributable to it under the applicable regulations.

No provision of these Terms and Conditions may be interpreted as a waiver or limitation of the inalienable rights recognized to consumers, nor as an exemption from liability prohibited by Argentine law.

13. Protection of personal data

Finamby processes personal data to provide its features, manage accounts and ensure the security of the service.

The processing of financial information and the use of external artificial intelligence providers are described in the Privacy Policy, which must be available for consultation before registration.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions does not replace the specific consents that are legally required for certain optional processing.

14. Account closure and deletion

The user may request deletion of their account through the available features or through the contact channel provided.

Closure will mean deactivation of their access and the processing of their data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, legal retention obligations and the rights of third parties.

Before deleting their account, the user may use the information export tools that are available.

Deleting the account will not necessarily affect records legitimately shared with other group members, where it is appropriate to keep them and there is a legal basis for doing so.

15. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Finamby may update these terms to reflect legal, technical or functional changes.

Relevant changes will be communicated through the application or by email with reasonable advance notice.

Where a change requires new acceptance or consent, it will be requested expressly.

Continued use of the service will not by itself be considered valid acceptance of changes that legally require express consent.

If the user does not accept essential conditions needed to continue using the service, they may request closure and deletion of their account, without prejudice to the rights they hold.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and Conditions will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Argentina.

In the event of a dispute, the user may first contact Finamby through the contact channel provided, without this being a mandatory prior requirement to exercise their rights.

Users will keep access to the competent administrative and judicial authorities under consumer protection rules.

No provision will impose a jurisdiction that implies a waiver of the rights legally recognized to the consumer.
